Emmy Nominierungen 2014/2015

– Game of Thrones führt mit 24 Nominierungen (darunter zwei Folgen für die beste Regieleistung), gefolgt von American Horror Story: Freak Show (19) und Olive Kitteridge (13). Die meisten Nominierungen für eine Comedy Serie erhält Transparent (11).
– The Big Bang Theory so gut wie draußen, abseits von Mayim Bialik als beste Nebendarstellerin
– Orange Is The New Black dank Regeländerung nun eine Drama-Serie. Erreicht zwar einen Platz in der wichtigsten Kategorie, aber ansonsten nur magere drei weitere Nominierungen.
– Better Call Saul schneidet erstaunlich gut ab: Beste Serie, Bester Hauptdarsteller, Bester Nebendarsteller und Bestes Drehbuch sind mehr, als viele erwartet hatten.
– Homeland is back… und The Good Wife trotz sieben nominierter Drama-Serien weiterhin draußen.
– Parks and Recreation erhält auch noch mal ein anständiges „Hurra!“ für seine letzte Staffel.
– Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt ist (gottlob!) drin! Und die meisten Darsteller auch (yeah)!! Nur ausgerechnet Hauptdarstellerin Ellie Kemper nicht… (argh!!!)
– Mark my Words: Jon Hamm kriegt endlich seinen Emmy… zumindest als Gastdarsteller für Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!
– Virunga macht es The Square nach und ist nun sowohl Oscar- als auch Emmy-nominiert.
– CITIZENFOUR macht es Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory (!) nach und ist nach seinem Oscar-Sieg ebenfalls für ein paar Emmys nominiert – wenn auch in anderen Kategorien wie Virunga.
