Denn wo sonst wird der Schmerz des Protagonisten, der eine ermordete Familie mit blutr\u00fcnstiger Gewalt r\u00e4chen will, in einen Film-Noir-\u00e4hnlichen Erz\u00e4hlstil verpackt?<\/p>\n<p>Diese ungew\u00f6hnliche Kombination spiegelt sich in K\u00e4rtsy Hatakkas und Kimmo Kajastos Musik wieder, denn das Hauptthema ist teils d\u00fcster-atmosph\u00e4risch, teils klassisch-melodisch. Die ruhigen Klaviert\u00f6ne sorgen f\u00fcr einen klaren Wiedererkennungseffekt und haben fast schon Ohrwurmqualit\u00e4t, w\u00e4hrend im Hintergrund monotone Schlagzeugrhythmen begleitend eintreten.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus wechselt der Score zwischen synthetischem Ambient und rockigen E-Gitarren, als ob Hatakka und Kajasto subtilen Horror mit krachender Action vereinen wollten. Der Soundtrack von <b>Max Payne<\/b> ist unterm Strich keiner, den ihr gro\u00df abseits des Spielens h\u00f6ren m\u00f6chtet. Aber er zeigt, wie man mit der Mixtur gew\u00f6hnlicher Mittel genau den richtigen Nerv trifft.<\/p>\n<p>Abschlie\u00dfend eine kleine Trivia: Viele Quellen geben Peter Hajba als Komponisten des Soundtracks an, was aber definitiv nicht stimmt.
